JULY 19th & 20th
Last years place was great with lots of space for the kids to run and be crazy. It is about a month later this year than usual... but it will be an even better break from the summer heat.
Ronald, Terry, Larry, Pam and Val will provide all the Waffle and bacon fixings again. Nothing says camping with a Robinson like Strawberry's and whipped cream. We hope to see you there. Lunch at NOON.
DIRECTIONS: Take hwy 87 north to Payson, turn right (east) at McDonald's onto hwy 260. Take hwy 260, 39 miles to fsr 300 (labeled Black Canyon Lake) and turn right (south.) Follow reunion sign from there to campground.

Black Canyon Lake was a Blast!
Black Canyon Lake was a lot of fun! We had 61 family members show up. Thank you so much for coming and having fun. THANK YOU to Aunt Pam and the Uncles for getting all the Waffle supplies and planning our Waffle Feast.
The spot was very shady and we are planning it for the same spot next year. Thank you to Rhett for hauling the Porta Potty around... I know we all appreciate that! I have uploaded a slide show of the pictures I have gathered via facebook. We do have a group on facebook that you can join for updates on reunions and sharing family stories to help keep the beauty of our family alive. Thank you to all who participated and made more family memories!

Location set and Date Change
We have moved the date this year up a week so we will meet June 17 and 18th. Rhett has found a great spot for us just north of Strawberry. Saturday afternoon we will have a pot luck lunch and a kids carnival. (IE duck pond, horseshoes, bean bag toss) If each camping family brings a carnival game and a small treat to pass out with it we will have a great afternoon activity for the kiddos. It is considered dry camping so be prepared... we are looking into having a porta potty brought out to help things out a little bit. Here is a map to get you the FR300, there will be signs from there... http://mapq.st/dFN0D9

Martin Reunion's of Old
Every year growing up, there were two things that were certain. We would have Pecan Pie after playing volleyball at Thanksgiving...and the weekend after Father's Day we would be at the Martin Family Reunion. Every year we knew exactly what weekend to save to rekindle our family connection with the extended family.
Many years have passed since the days of my youth, but one thing still remains, we need our family. The Martin Clan has grown. The Paul and Rula Robinson Clan is now about the same size as the young Martin Family was when we so diligently attended these summer reunions. Seems that it is time to shift names and begin new wonderful memories for our children.
I am using the "Field of Dreams" approach, If you plan it, they will come. Last year we had a pretty good turn out for a new event. I so appreciate everyone who took time and traversed the long, narrow, scary road to join us.
Please save the date, weekend after Fathers Day June 24th & 25th. Hope to see you there!
